CE.AZ... drivers for CE.MT... stepper motors are totally programmable with different protocols, and they becomes nodes of a fieldbus.
They are equiped with digital and analogic inputs and outputs that allow to connect different sensors types in order to use the driven in stand-alone mode or node mode.
With Step-control software the driver can be programmed to make even complex profiles on the electric motor.
The driver can work in two control modes, stepper-mode and servo-mode:
• Stepper-mode: the motor is driven with an open ring using a vectorial current regulation that allow to reduce thermal dissipations and mechanical resonances;
• Servo-mode: the motor is driven with an closed ring using the encoder on CE.MT... motors (or using external encoder). That allow to keep the position and speed motor by modifying the driving parameters. The supply current isn’t constant (like stepper-mode) but it varies with the required conditions.
All drivers are the inside electronics divided into two parts to separate the power module and logic module.
There are two different drives:
• Single axis version that run 1 cylinder; • Multi-axis version that run 3 cylinder (also different type) at the same tyme.
They can also be equipped with STO certified safety system.
