The ISO 15552 cylinders with low friction coefficient (HTBA) are available in the tie-rod version and with end-of-stroke shock absorbers.
The main features of these actuators are: low static and dynamic friction values that allow the rod to move with very low force (and pressure) and at a constant translation speed.
The main applications range, for example, from use as a tensioner in paper processing lines, to controlling sanding/polishing pressure, to fatigue testing equipment with force control.
The ability to use the full range of ISO standard mountings and end-of-stroke magnetic sensors facilitates their integration into modern machines where there is a need for very low sliding resistance.
